I am an experienced couple therapist, having trained and then worked at Tavistock Relationships (previously TCCR) as a staff member. I now work there as a senior clinician. I also consult to Family Law in Partnerships to support their clients who are going through divorce. Having previously been a family law solicitor I have an understanding about the impact of the legal process on the emotional aspects of divorce.
I am trained to work psychodynamically which means that I think about people's present situation and difficulties in the context of other earlier relationships and experiences. I am writing a book to be published by Profile Books about couple relationships and I am happy to be contacted by journalists and the media to give comments or thoughts about relationships and couples.
I work with a diverse range of couples in terms of race, ethnicity, sexuality, resources and background. In certain circumstances I can offer a reduced rate.
